What an incredible trip! I had the best three day trip to the Sahara desert with Reda as our driver. I was a little bit nervous about what to expect... read more on this trip as a solo woman traveller but there wasn't nothing to worry about other than to have a lovely time. Visiting and spending the night in the Sahara desert is a once in a lifetime experience and our driver Reda truly made it great. Reda especially gave us all a warm welcome to Morocco, plenty of info on what to expect and was a truly professional driver. There's plenty of stops along the way out to the. desert and a chance to see more of Morocco - which is a world away from my home in New Zealand. However like all reviews mentioned, it can feel like a long drive home to Marrakech - so just be ready for the car journey.
I'd suggest to make sure to bring plenty of cash with you at least 200 MAD a day, as the lunches are a little more expensive than Marrakesch, local guides to tip and you'll want to purchase momentos.
Good experience - We did the three-day Marrakesh to Merzouga tour and it was a really interesting experience. Our driver was always very professional, helpful and perfectly driven. Very nice and interesting night... read more in merzouga especially thanks to the helpfulness and courtesy of the guys in the camp. Very good dinner as well. Only negative aspects the lunches during the trip : there is no choice and the places are quite mediocre. Overall without a doubt a good experience.
Really great experience for good value. We did 3 days, 2 nights, Marrakesh to Merzouga and back. It’s a long drive but there’s lots to see on the way and... read more many stops for attractions our driver was Rida and he was awesome! The other passengers were of all ages and from all over the world which made for a very interesting and fun drive!
Amazing!!!! - This was an amazing trip. Reda was a great driver: he was always available for our needs and very clear in his explanations. The van was really comfortable, restaurants served... read more quality food and we had the chance to visit a real berber village. I would definitely recommend this experience.

A trip to do at least once in a lifetime - Reda the driver and everyone were lovely and we learned a lot of new cultures and traditions. The sunset, sunrise and stars in the desert were amazing! A memory forever... read more in very good company :)
Well worth it for the experience - I highly recommend it for the experience and the included tours. The hotel and the camp we stayed at were really good, hotel even had a pool for a little... read more dip. My only complaint would be the restaurants have set menus and sometimes not what we needed.
Beautiful Sahara Magouza desert trip - The value and experience was unforgettable. Our guide and driver, Rida, was very kind and attentive and caring. We had some problems and he made sure to care for us... read more and also for fellow travelers. He’s also a smooth driver which definitely helps with a long, mountainous road. We really appreciate the time there with the natural scenery and beautiful desert. We won’t forget the people here.
IT IS A MUST! - Must do! Totally worth the money and time. The van is super comfy to ride in. You go on multiple tours, where you have a guide to explain the history... read more and answer all your questions. Lunch is not included but the spots you go to for lunch are very good and you get app/entree/fruit. All for 100 dirham, very good price. The dinners that are included are very good and plenty of food as well. Breakfast is worth it too.
Our driver Reda, is such a genuine person and a good time. He was the best DJ and stopped for many breaks when needed. He made the experience that much better. The drive is a bit long but with the stops for breaks and tours. It’s not so bad.
The campsite for the desert is exactly what you want and may be a bit nicer than expected. We each had our own campsite with a bed. The camp fire with the Moroccans playing music and all of us dancing around the fire. We had so much fun doing this, a moment in time I won’t forget. The camels are also a fun time, you ride them for sunset and sunrise. Which is another unforgettable moment.
If you want to learn a lot about Moroccos history, have fun, make memories, enjoy culture, and not have to worry about driving or booking hotels. DO THIS TOUR!
