Eccleston50A trip that takes you to a romantic valley in the majestic Atlas Mountains. Ourika Valley is a favourite place for everyone who desires to escape the hotness of Marrakech and explore a beautiful and vigor place with rocky mountains, green bushes, and waterfalls.
You will experience a short ride with panoramic views, little hike to the waterfall, visit a traditional Berber house, visit of women cooperative for producing an argan oil and enjoy your time in a unique restaurant and cafe right in the river.
We pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 in the morning. The drive to Ourika valley takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes while you have a chance to admire beautiful Atlas mountains and scenic roads. During the short break, you can enjoy some unforgettable views and take many pictures.
In Ourika valley you stop in the woman cooperative which is focused on making the bioproducts from famous Moroccan gold – Argan oil. After you visit the Berber village and traditional Berber house, you will be introduced to Berber culture and the authentic nature of living in a Berber family.
After this short visit, you join the local guide who takes you to explore the Berber village and for the hiking to the first waterfall. In the summertime, don‘t hesitate and try the water. After visiting the waterfalls you have a chance to enjoy lunch in a beautiful restaurant near the mountain river.
After finish your lunch time, you meet your driver and take a drive back to Marrakech.
