emmanuel NTake a short 2-day tour and enjoy the unique sunset and sunrise over the Zagora Desert. Zagora is a small rocky desert, but it offers a unique experience. Watch millions of bright stars in the night sky, sleep in true Bedouin tents and enjoy traditional Berber food and culture.
We pick you up from your hotel at 07:00 in the morning. First, we depart to the Atlas mountains. The drive-in Atlas mountains take 4 hours with breathtaking scenic views. We have one break and stop for taking the pictures. This route is one of the most beautiful routes in Morocco.
After 4 hours in the car, we stop in Berber village (Ait Ben Haddou). You have 2 hours for visiting an old castle with a local guide and lunch in a restaurant. After we continue to the desert, Zagora is 4 hours far from the village and you have one break.
After the stop in Zagora, you take a ride on camels, this ride takes 1 hour, and camels and guides get you to your camp in the desert. You enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, with music and dancing. After you finish your dinner and the program ends, you sleep in comfortable tents. During your stay in the desert, you have many opportunities for taking pictures, watching the beautiful sunset, and experiencing stargazing at the night.
The next day, you wake up at 6.00 for enjoying and taking pictures of the sunrise and for Moroccan breakfast. After finish your stay in the desert, camels take you back to your driver. On your way back to Marrakech, you stop in Ouarzazate for visiting Cinema studios. The trip finishes at your hotel at 18.00.
